I prepared you all in Muller Rice land for the comedown. All the hype hype and more hype rammed down your throats. "England this England that", "we've got a good chance of winning this", "England expects". "Maybe Argentina in the semis..." The bare reality is that your team of stars are simply not good enough. Pressure. That's what Frank 'Joe 90 spectacles' Capello blames it on. What pressure. A base in S Africa with the latest training facilities, Spa, Wii, X Box, Playstations, local hookers? The players are not to blame. It's the media, and Dizzy Rascal. Building up a bunch of over paid f***witts who live in plush mansions who are "bored" in their S African retreat, whilst we see the S African team dancing and just happy to be there in their humble accomodation. The BBC must have chartered a jet to S Africa with the number of experts, pundits etc. Many of them who have sold on their own complimentary tickets... 5/1 I got the draw today. Thank you Englund! I knew you wouldn't let me down. I am prepared to sahre my wealth with you farmers. Get your money on a Slovenian win or draw. You've had enough warnings for this World Cup. Just listen this time for God's sake! Draw/Win Slovenia. Put your humble wages on it.

Ever heard of the English & Welsh Cricket team...
We will laugh at England for a long time over World Cup 2010.

Wales's population is around the same as Slovenia's. Latvia have qualified for major tournaments. The population excuse is just an easy get out for losers.

I have to ask... You gave up on the England national side because they are over rated and over hyped? Over rated and over hyped where? By whom? I am aware you are domiciled in Germany and may not have full access to all the British media but some of the stuff written and spoken about England footballers beggars belief. They are the ones doing the over-rating and over hyping. Not just the gutter press either, the esteemed Patrick Barclay of the Times even said England would win the World Cup.

We didnt need to be warned. Just because the Sun and James Corden go round shouting we're going to win it, doesnt mean we actually believe it. I must admit I didnt think it would be this bad but I certainly didnt think we would win it
Yes its ridicuously over-hyped but do you think your any better? I remember when you started to get a decent side together for the first time in a long time and were drawn with us in qualifers. All we heard was how you were going to beat us and qualify for a tournament for the first time in ages and how did that turn out...............?
Yes the English media go into stupidly hyped we are going to win it, in the same way yours go for your going to qualify
As for the England and Wales cricket team, I dont think there are any of your fellow Welshmen in there. We will be changing the name to England, Ireland & South African Cricket Team so its more up to date

So you have given up on the national football side because of the English media? I'm well aware of what they are like, I read English newspapers, I watch English TV... But I find it bizarre that you would give up on England because of whats reported in the English media. I don't care what the English media say or do, I form my own opinion. If I don't like a particular media outlet and how it goes about things I simply avoid it. I don't, for example, read the red tops. So Patrick Barclay of the Times said England would win the World Cup. And? Thats his opinion, thats what he reckons. You don't have to agree with him, you don't even have to read what he says... The English media when it comes to the national side is a joke. All the hype is from what? How many folk working in the media? Yet everyone goes on about over rated, over hyped...only by a very small number fo folk. Most England fans (the one I know anyhows) see things as they are...plain and simple... I simply do not understand why some folk would give up on the national side because of the opinion reported by a very small select few in the media who have no more understanding of the game than you or I...

Totally agree, but I have better things to do on a Friday night than watch England. Its been a let down every time since 66. So as I have got older I tend to value my time more. 3 hours of a nice summers evening is not going to be taken up watching another farce.

The Scots, Welsh and the Irish are onto a winner come what may, they’ll all be out giving the ‘we told you so’ when we get knocked out. But the truth is I don’t think there are that many England fans who really think we are good enough to win the World Cup when you look to the likes of Brazil and Argentina. So ‘we told you so’ is all complete b******s. We got there, we’re through to the last 16, we’ll enjoy it whilst we can…which is more than can be said for those poor buggers who have to define success based on an England failure… Come on England!!

. Let's be honest. England played a lot better today against Germany than their previous games in the tounament. I feel quite enthusiastic about our games in the Euro qualifiers now.
