I hope the Shrews players dont feel any sympathy for Telford tonight- time to be selfish and determined- take the game to them right from the off- Come on you Blues

Absolutely- I can't agree more! In fact I put this sentiment into that song I did a few days ago!-
Imagine beating Telford! It isn't hard to do! Don't show them any Mercy- It's either them or you! Imagine all the Shrews fans- Shouting out for Joy- oh-ooh-oh-oh-oh, You can call me a dreamer- But I'm not the only one! Just gotta go out and grind them down- Till all their pride is gone.
Grind 'em down- no "sweetners" nothing. In fact it's good practice for meeting Chester!

Yes they do have to be ruthless and I think that this is something that has been missing from us for several years now but particularly this season.
Upon returning from the Hereford game I thought ' what bloomin hard nosed bunch they were - I'm not at all impressed with this magnificent Mr. Turner's tactics'. Then it came upon me like a vision that you have to be like this to get out of this division and this is the lesson that both Chester and Hereford have learned over the past few years - in fact there's nothing wrong with them at all - it's us - we're always trying to play fancy proper football and if we are playing Everton or Chelsea. We have managers who don't tell us to get stuck in because at the moment winning is all that matters because that is what the fans want. As an extremely wound up son ranted at me over the 'phone last week "why do we get the mangers who can talk the talk but not produce the goods?" They're all very nice blokes but they need to be tougher and instill this toughness into their players surely.
