In the NLP today, Eamon Dolan says "Shrewsbury should not be in the conference and nor should Exeter... Shrewsbury deserve to go up and I hope they do -but I hope we do as well" 1. we both went down because we played worse than Carlisle in the second half of last season (sounds a deserving cause for relegation to me) and 2. does he really think that we can both get promotion this year (which of us is going to take the title then?)

i think he was trying to say you are a good side. OK he was clumsy in his words, but try and recognise a compliment when you see one

In reality I the complement - just had the urge to be pedantic!

And the bloke seems to be an excellent manager.
If there wasn't such an anti Exeter feeling in the Conference then i am sure the man would be in line for Manager of the Year. He came over as absolutely mad yesterday but seems passionate and talks alot of sense.

Totally agree.
we'd have gone mad had the boots been on the other feet.
Doing a great job, altho' I suspect whats his face (director of football-Perryman?) might have something to do with their progress.
As ant and Phil kept pointing out yesterday, their team spirit is brilliant and evident for all to see, combined with some decent players, good backing from their fans and the ethos they have, they are and will be a force for anyone in this league.
