Rhyl and TNS bring back memories of Summertime, getting lost in the middle of nowhere during a thunderstorm coming back from Rhyl. And watching Salop play next to a cow field, Sheep field and school in a village.

![:D](//storage.proboards.com/1258782/images/pqnQOqOSibedLgQPAcub.png) Took longer than I expected but cheers Pete lad ![;)](http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/winking/winking0070.gif) Returning to seriousness, Welsh League football is an absolute joke...Welsh based non league sides like Merthyr Tydfil and Colwyn Bay could probably hammer the likes of Rhyl yet cant even get into the Conference in this country.

Newtown played a game this year (so pikey tells me) without a single welsh player in the team ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) Thats a bit bizzare considering what the FAW set as the league criteria and there original threats to the likes of Merthyr.

Sad to say but the standard oif football in the LOW is such it would be more advantageous for sides to join the English leagues at their level.
Teams like Aberystywth, Rhyl and Bangor (as well as T*S) would be able to aim realistically at Unibond premier league football as they have the crowds that can support it.
As for the likes of Welshpool (last attendance under 100), they would be better off in the Midlands Alliance.
Just my view, but the league is in a real state at the moment.....

Bangor were actually one of the founder members of the Conference so I can see why they are unhappy with the LoW (seeing as they were forced there in the first place), maybe the LoW could follow their Irish counterparts, go for summer football and see how that works out, even then I dont think it would work much.....
