I was quite dissapointed with the atmosphere myself, but maybe thats just me. Was standing in front of a father with his young son sitting on his shoulders in the first half, the father started to get very agitated with the ref as the game wore on (as everyone else) and started shouting stuff like 'YOURE A ****ING JOKE REFEREE!!!' to which the young boy (no older than five) would reply 'Yeh, he's a barsteward!!!!' and the language from this father AND son was shocking lol!!!

Also, I dont think it was a full house completely, I saw some empty seats in the centre stand...

Hey schizo
Football does that to families.
My Kid now 15, often used to hear some choice words (even in the family stands) and she's been going 13 years already - and just puts up with me now - but it really is different around the table on a Sunday.

This kid (definitely no older than five) was saying words like s**t, w****r, ****, barsteward etc and the dad seemed quite proud of him!!! It really was hilarious to listen to...

That very same guy got into an arguement with a bloke infront of me. Then I foolishly got involved and thought he was going to land one on me. Finally he clamed down and shook our hands. A very strange person.

but did he really need to start on a lad who had done nothing wrong. He was just having a word with a mate and this guy just started on him. I shouldn't have got involved myself but I don't tend to think these things through but at least it ended peacefully.

Don't Sky show the playoffs then ?, if not best leave it for when they come for another live conference game.

yep so maybe you could loan the gantry to barnet, hereford or aldershot as we have our own thanks ;D
who cares about live games anyway, its next to nothing money and true fans will be at the game anyway.

The money might not be up to much , but we could tuck it away and buy another Jody Banim.

whats that supposed to mean?
why pay another 20k when you can get players like chris murphy for free?
and i thought we had enough strikers, how many do you want?

>>whats that supposed to mean?<< That a little money can buy a quaility player.
>>why pay another 20k when you can get players like chris murphy for free?<< Lee Mills ,How much?
>>and i thought we had enough strikers<< you probably do, and we have enough defenders so we will send Rioch along shortly.

a little money can buy a quality player, we got c moore who scored our crucial gaols to get us in the 3rd round of the cup and has therefore basically paid his fee back.
lee mills was free apart from his wages, cant think rodgers is on little less than mills as, as we all know he drives a porsche
i thought you needed a centre back as cover?? plus we dont need pie muncher rioch - we have a quality left back in trevor challis thanks. how can you send him on anyway when potters loan ends he'll be back in the squad

There are some flash motors up on Brookside too Lee. Doesn't mean the dole dossers are get paid a load though. Luke is on a half decent wage but it's nothing too shocking and its surely less than what Mills is on.
