Obviously the Scarborough game takes priority as it's this Saturday but I have to say how much I'm looking forward to the game at Leigh next Tuesday.
This seems to be a similar line of thought with lots of fans I've talked to - what about everyone on here?
Are you going?
How long does it take to get there from Salop?
How many fans do you think we'll take?
I have to say I'm much more confident about the two upcoming games with the knowledge that Tolley and Ridler could well be fit and that we've signed Bell too.

Its probably a 90 min journey from Salop. Leigh's pretty close to a lot of motorways so there should be a good attendance from the North of England Shrews.
Seem to remember going through Leigh once, on a detour from a congested M62. Its not a big place !
I'm sure that there will be 1000+ away fans making the trip. Hopefully getting a carload of people from work to come along to see a better result than Saturday's.

I think it's important to get 4 points out of the next two games. I'd be at Leigh if I could.

After only 5 points from the last 12, I think we're going to need more than 4 from the next 2 games. We have to be looking at 6. Might not get them of course, but 9 points from 18 isn't promotion form. Over the season that would average out at 1.5 points a game or 63 points, which judging by the last few seasons would not be a top 5 finish. 9 out of the next 9 would be nice

We're 6th place in the Conference lads...nothing more than six points from these next two games would, for me, be a right kick in the pips...
Bass...How low can we go? ;D

Yes- I'm 99.9% sure I'll be there- arranged for another tutor to take my last 2 students- so I can get off early! (I worked till really late on Tuesday- her students- adults- how's that for dedication to the cause? Leigh is only just up the East Lancs road - about 20 minutes drive from here, I'd say. Hope I'll see some of you there- I'll be on my own My husband doesn't really want to go!) Do you realise that Hilton Park, Kirkhall Lane is not far from a road called Ratcliffe Road (or Lane) ?

My God all this maximum points essential stuff from next 2 games......................if we dont get them no point ever coming on here again.............would be more fun reading the messageboard of The Samaritans..........
I'll take 4 now with pleasure and even if we lose em both I'll still bet anyone we STILL get promoted.............

tom leather- by the bus i hpoe you mean the amazing NCB coaches. If so it will be around £10, but for me as a travel club member i should in theory recieve a £1 discount but I'll just spend it on the raffle. My finest day came where i won the raffle. Going to leyton orient it was, sometime last year and i got an all expenses paid trip for Bristol and that is my highest moment as a town fan. After hearing page 152 from my autobiography you may decide to invest in it. I am willing to go down to £2.50 for it, but no less. I'm telling you it will be worth much more someday. If you choose to come on the coach then you too could enter the raffle, win the raffle, write an autobiography and totally change your lifestyle. So for a bargin of £10 you to Mr Tom Leather could ride the coach and become a true success and maybe sometime in the near future, you may not have to pay for a trip to bristol. Sorry to keep you waiting , but it had to be done.

You sound like you really love those coaqches afro!!!
I can't wait for Leigh, the prospecting of outnumbering the home support is very appealing!
I'm going straight from work in Telford, being picked up by a mate who delivers beer and is based in Telford before collecting fagin_Shrew (has he registered on here yet?) and heading north...

To travel in style to the games the only alternative is a limo, but to have one of those it must have a pool. Haven't found one of those yet so the coach is where I'll stay.

The Limo I wouldn't mind but I ruddy hate the coaches! Slow and cramped. I'm a confirmed fan of the motor car!!!

No one will be comeing further than me for this game - Santa monica - Los Angles (see picture) this is the first game this season for me and frankly is strange as i have no idea what to expect - the taste of defeate and relegation are the last live memories i have - hopefully 3 points at leigh and that will be banished to the back of my mind (for the time!!)

Ah Smithy's coaches, I spent many years of my teenage life traveling to Town games on those buses. Makes the train very appealing

If i went on the train I'm the kind of person to end up in Cowdenbeath so i save myself from my bad sense of direction on the coach.
