It's frightening about all the clubs in financial trouble in the Conference,Telford and Exeter obviously but i didn't realise Barnet,Stevenage and Woking were losing that much.Makes you wonder what will happen to us next season if we don't go up via the playoffs.

Knowing the history of the club, we will just cut our cloth accordingly. You can guess what you like about our current budget, I am sure we have not taken a Chester win or bust approach- I dont think our finances will stop us having a real good go at promotion again next year

Hope your right and with 5 or 6 players unlikely to be here next year the wage bill can be cut.

Our wage bill was just under 1.5 million last season.
It has, as confirmed by the club, risen this year (before the signings of Banim and Darby) so taking us closer to 2 million per year.
We need similar crowds next season to ensure that we don't get into trouble as the wage bill will not reduce next season (well certainly not by much).
We will also receive no parachute payment next year and things will be tight.

It will reduce a fair bit. Dunbavin,Drysdale,Rioch,Lowe and Rodgers takes a sizable chunk off and that is before the possible departures of any high earning new players like Cramb and O'Connor.

And all those mentioned (most of whom are under contract for next year) will need to be replaced.
