After I'd taken my two youngest grandchildren to the Telford match- and met a friendly couple who thought it was great that we were "Shrews" showing some support, I was disappointed to hear some Telford fans cheering their heads off when the Hereford/Shrewsbury result was announced. Won't get me down to the Duck Shed again!!!!

Ah now, we just have to separate the two issues. We don't want Telford to die totally. We just want them to forfeit this season so we gain on the top 5 and they drop a few leagues.

I dont want the end of Telford, one thing thogh the messing around with stewards and the change of kickoff time wont of done them any favours,Cant help thinking when i read Buckchat there are a lot of knuckledraggers that bring their genuine fans down with them with their course use of their language. Not the way to represent any people, let alone genuine Telford people,Wiggy there still some descent people left here although i think we are becoming the minority.

I'm sure the ones on here will appreciate it wiggy, it's a top gesture.
Lets face it, they've got not much else to cheer about at the moment!

first off, well done for making the effort of coming to our game but.... when you are at the meadow and the scores come over that telford are losing does everybody in the ground keep quiet and not acknowledge it?! of course they dont - we both like seeing each others team lose because of the local rivalry i expect you to be quiet at the meadow next time telford are losing

It was what I expected, really! I probably will go again at some time. Wouldn't like to see them go out of business, no way. I found it expensive though -with two kids. family stand at The Meadow is great. It was a LITTLE less expensive for me, at NBH- but £9 each for the children- making it more expensive altogether. Maybe they should consider this at Telford- there's not a lot of money in that area- and they might find they'd get more support if they made more concessions- and dropped the price for kids. I know they need the money- but a small price drop and a few more concessions could mean more bums on seats- and more support and money in the long run.
