I couldn't believe it when that coach turned up either, no wonder the police were running all around it

4) There was a group of about 100 penned in at the Station, whilst waiting for our train a mob of about 50 Hereford supporters came (on the road towards the station) towards us in a threatening manner. I couldn't see the rest cause i climbed on the bin and was told to get off it by a cop.
Trouble makers.

Train home? I was in the only spare seat opposite my mates and the carridge was packed with Welsh fans so you couldn't have. Unless you were one of those standing up in between our section yelling "BNP" and trash like that?

bit of a funny day really, not sure why the hereford footy supporters us to that exchange pub, there were quite a few nutters so it was a good job we were upstairs. when they heard about us being upstairs quite a few were coming up to the toilets and giving us the evil stares. the landlord must have been concerend as he came up and locked us in the room and told us to leave via the back door.
then after the game whilst waiting by the mini bus we had several groups of hereford tossers passing us and trying to bait us for a scrap, thiswas really pathetic as it was clear we werent interested. some t**t decided to spit at me in front of about a dozen of his mates and was giving the big come on. wonder if he would have done that if he was on his own?, i doubt it. acting the hard man in front of his mates. at that stage if he had come a few yards closer within punchung distance i was ready to peg it as i could have been exposed to a right kicking, something i could do without!
all in all a strange day compared to the friendlyness at all the other away games this year.

Stinking fergals. they just cant accept the fact that although they hate us, we just dont give a toss about them. I thought our ground was decrepid but Edgar Street is the worst I've been to, more due to the crap design than just the age of it.

Edgar Street is worse than Gay Meadow that's for sure.

TBH it's the away end that let's it down badly the sides and the home end look ok, but yes it needs more than a lick of paint, the Ducks Head is a palace compared to Edgar Street, i still say The Shay is the best ground in the Conference atm though

yes in the toilets on a cupboard or something (i don't know what it was) above the urinal there was written on it 'hartlepool are gonna kick ass on tour '99'
did think the home meadow end was good, curved and high seemed to fit a lot of people in, and i couldnt see any 'yellow zones' so it looked very packed.

I quite like edgar stret, been there a few times now and it's got a lot of character.
Not quite sure what the planners were thinking though when they came up with the Blackfriers end
