Robin Eaves said he would quit if the crowd was less than 4,500

Such a shame that those who have put hard work in have not been rewarded with a better crowd.

Look at the bright side of all this.........with such a *hit response to the TUFC dilemma by the Typhoid fans, if they go tits up the teams above us that have done what we couldnt and got maximum points from The Bucks will lose them. We might stand a chance of making the playoffs.......................

Is Robin Eaves a man of his word, will he resign, and would that therefore spell the end for TUFC as we know it? The FA have only sanctioned the next 2 games untill further assurances are required concerning the bond.
Could Telford be in trouble? 3O61 Is appalling support considering all the publicity the last few days.

It is a sad situation and is exactly what we said all along again and again and again
a stadium is nice, but it only pays players wages when they are people in it
they cannot sustain their current position, and all the "Andy Shaw gave us a dream" stuff is just sickening, he sold them a lie, no league team ever survived with gates of 1500, it was never going to happen, he has threatened the existence of their football club when they could have had a successfully run mid table part time club with a good youth set up and spent time developing the fan base

Maybe a group of Shrews fans could go to the next home game if we aren't playing on that day?

Their next game is on Tuesday v Chester and seeing as we are away at Barnet i would think a few may go.

Maybe a group of Shrews fans could go to the next home game if we aren't playing on that day? I can get 2x 16 seater minibuses for the Accrington game on the Thursday after we play them on the Tuesday I will let you know once it is fully sorted, provisionla cost is £2 a head for transport both ways, then obviously we pay to get in and they'll be collecting loose change in buckets

I do not see why we should bother, if less than 3,000 turned up today. Its plain to see that the public of Telford are not bothered if a football club exsists in the town.

Fair enough but you could go and see our play-off opposition before we play them. ;D

Whilst Im all for going there, what we are really doing is masking the problem. The people of Telford dont want a football team, if they did 4500 would easily have been beaten today, in the end it came nowhere near and doesnt even take into account the away support.

It was a good crowd for Telford and that's their problem. Disappointing under the circumstances though, as was the game which won't encourage many to return.
Canvey about 250 and there were some Town fans there too. I couldn't face Hereford after Tuesday's performance!

like you say TUFC can't really expect more then 3-4000 ecven in their circumstances and that's their biggest problem when it comes to finances

cant believe the gate was so low in the circumstances and lets not forget it was an important game as well being the trophey semi final.
if i was thinking of investing in TUFC i wouldnt be too impressed by the turnout if thats all they can muster in a do or die situation. truely amazing when you consider TUFC could be more this time next week.

If you really want to donate money to a football club, why not give it to STFC? While I would hate to see any club go under, even Telford, probably your hard earned money would only go to creditors like the Inland Revenue, and I can forsee a big financial loss for the Town in the current financial year with the big money signings we've had. Therefore get your priorities right!
