Changed my mind to give him the Saturday game.
The only reason being that with the transfer deadline so close a new manager wouldn't be able to bring any new players in. Even if Quinn brings in only one extra player, that player would hopefully be an advantage to the new boss in the event of him coming into manage.

I voted 'yes' as well, but at the end of the day all these polls are very academic and meaningless, we know the board are very unlikely to be swayed by what we think sadly

Quinn should keep the job to the end of our season then the people responsable for his and his teams appointment should do the honourable thing and resign.

as pete says the board will not be swayed by these polls on here. they will do what they think is best, which may or may not be what the majority of the fans think.I personally dont see the point of sackin him now, give it til the end of the season. i do want us to go up this season without a doubt but i dont think letting quinny not finish the job hes started, this season, is the right way 2 go about things. If we r playin conference football next year then, yea he will have 2 b replaced but until then just give him n the team all the support they need

Cast your mind back to deadline day last year. In desperate need of patching up a dire defence, possilbly needed some new faces in midfield (similar to Talbot) . What do we get ? Scott Partridge & Steve Watts!!!! I wouldnt put it past JQ to do something equally stupid.

OUT! OUT! OUT! He has had 8 months. He has been dire. He cannot motivate. He has no idea his best 11. He has no idea our best formation. Is he suddenly going to see the light and magically sort it out in the next few days? NO CHANCE

My honest opinion, JQ isnt the right man for the job. Like Wynnie has said, in other words he hasnt got a clue. Harsh as that may be, but its true!!
But the club has got to relise that the current situation isnt doing us any justice. Alot of supporters are still hurt from the disappoinment from last season and the club does deserve to back in the football league. And with him as manager, its not going to happen (unless proven wrong). Its extremely hard to support a team when you've got a manager who is so unreliable. He's been here 8 months and done sweet F.A!! I know the conference isnt a easy league to play in but on paper we've got the best squad in that league but the manager doesnt know how to use it. We need a manager who can use that squad and get us back where we belong.

Stay until the end of the season at least. As I posted on another thread, there's four weeks of the season left - what time does that give a new person to try and change things around? I know we all want to get back into the league, but we have no divine right to be there. Chester are where they are on merit this season - we've been waiting for their 'blip', but it hasn't been forthcoming (yet!), so they deserve to be promoted. If (as seems likely, and perish the thought otherwise) we get to the playoffs, then despite Tuesday night (and similar performances) we have as good a chance as any of the other teams. Finally.as posted earlier, the Board had a two year plan to bet back into the F.L. so promotion this season will be one year ahead of their target! And finally finally ( ), history dictates that a team relegated to the Conference will not bounce straight back - only one team has done it I think?. So again, promotion will be atremendous achievement. Stay positive.
