If we don't go straight back up then I could just about live with that - but not making the play-offs is a disaster for us. We're the biggest club ever to be relegated into this division - we're not a non-league yo-yo side like Barnet, Scarboro and Halifax. How many Conference clubs have played in what is now division one for more than one season? The answer is one and it's us and we were there for 10 years. I've got a ticket for the Hereford game and I'll go but unless we show a bit more guts, fight and passion that'll be it for me for this year. I guess what I'm saying is bar a complete change in attitude at our club Saturday is my last game for while and potentially a long while. Our main problem on the pitch is we don't play like a team - as suggested in tonight's Shropshire Star. The player's don't show enough heart. From what I've seen this season my harshest criticism would go to Cramb - a posing show-pony who should be boiled up for glue. Other under-achievers in my book would be Rodgers and Tolley (they clearly belive they're too good for this league - how wrong they are). Of the rest some of them are either simply not good enough (Sedgemore), past it (O'Connor), over-rated (Aiston) or they've got an attitude problem (Lowe). These words sound harsh I know but I've now gone past the end of my tether.

Think if everybody was to do the same as you!
I say everybody goes and everyone gets behind the team vocally and supports them till the end of the season!

I can assure you that saturday WON'T be my last game i'll be at Barnet when the coach arrives with the players and management and i'm gonna give them a right piece of my mind.Regardless of this coming saturdays result. Then i'm going to give them all a big kiss wish them the best and sing my heart out on the terrace

[glow=red,2,300]SHREWSBURY TILL I DIE[/glow]
i too get soooooo frustrated and angry when i think the players on the pitch are not trying, i always think that i'd rather watch someone try their swallocks off than a talented player who simple can't be arsed. but every single person who calls themselves a salop fan should do their best to motivate, sing up and show the players and manager that we do give a even if they don't. to do this we must turn up to as many games as we can and sing our hearts out.

I met a friend in the pub pre-match on Tuesday and he looked really glum and down hearted, i asked what was wrong and he said i really cant face watching this anymore but im going to give them one last chance. He left 25 minutes before the end, i doubt we will see him again this season. How many more are like this? Another friend of mine said a few weeks ago that if the town were playing in his back garden he would get up and shut the curtains. Both of these people have supported the town for probably 30 years non stop - Things are looking very bleak

First off, well done H My personal view...I could never stop going. STFC have been a part of me for so long, I've lost girlfriends over them, failed work at school because I chose to go to Carlisle on a Tuesday night instead of getting it done...STFC is like an extra organ inside my body, and one I could never live without. No matter how much pain they put me through, how many times they break my heart, how many times they make my whole entire world collapse around me...I will be there 'til the death. Because I know, deep down that one day I will be rewarded. One day MY club will come good again. That's my faith. It's not a case of me wanting to believe it...I HAVE to believe it. Shrewsbury 'til I die.

I have a ticket for Saturday plus a season ticket and to be honest I don't know if I can be bothered to go to Hereford. I have not been on here for a while because I am not impressed with what Town have been serving up for the last 3 or 4 months and people on here tend to be over optimistic and as we don't play as a team or have any game plan I decided to just shut up!
It is like last season in so many ways - games in hand but a team playing without any real commitment or organisation - muddling through rather than taking charge. I don't boo the players and to be honest I still think we have better players here now than we did when we just missed the playoffs - MY CONCLUSION IS THAT IT IS NOT THE PLAYERS IT IS THE MANAGEMENT TEAM WHO ARE NOT UTILISING THEIR RESOURCES PROPERLY - COME ON QUINN SORT OUT _ OR ARE YOU RATCLIFF IN DISGUISE!!!

I DID stop going a few years ago when King was 'managing' - a full 90 mins of football was sending me to sleep. That really was the pits. IMHO it is (only slightly) more entertaining now

Like Grizzly, I only ever missed Town home games out of choice when King was manager.
I've been doing it more recently and could see myself starting to go to 10, 15 games a year, rather than 25, 30 if this s**t continues.

I'm fortunate that there are ASFC games on Saturday, because Town's football at the moment is derisory; which makes the continuing high attendances even more amazing.
