Beaten Track is definately shut from 5pm. Police have sent a letter to all the pubs requesting that the don't open after 5

Shropshire Star reported yesterday that "pubs would cash in on Derby trade"?
from the sound of the article, most pubs will be open to home fans....Nags Head etc...
although i know the BT is definetly closed....so not really sure what the point of this post is ;D

I asked the fella behind the bar in the beaten track if they were open and he said they were shutting at 5 as the police have asked them to. He then pointed out all the other pubs in the area were doing the same. I gather now that he was talking bollox.
Perhaps a case of "if we can't make money then we don't want anyone else to".

What to do - i don't know now. Go down for a couple in the Crown Abbey Foregate or freeze for 3/4 hour. Hmmmmm
