Ian Atkins or Roddy Collins would get the discipline & shape sorted.
It wouldnt be pretty mind, but we I dont think they'd put up with carrying too much s**te.

Possibly Tim. But the person I'd like to see has been mentioned by yourself in another thread. Come on down Mickey Heathcote. Well respected by his fellow pros and would not take any sh!t from anyone.
I'd also like to see my all time hero Nigel Pearson, but he is doing too well for himself elsewhere so I think it would be unlikely.
Ross McLaren would be another strong personality not to take cr@p from anyone whom I wouldn't mind seeing down here either.

Not too sure about any of these people as managers, but what is Pearson doing at the moment ?
Just curious

I agree with Tim. Tommy Lynch would be a good manager here. Clearly was a favourite during his spell here and like Tim said, he certainly would show them how to get stuck in.
I was going to put Jemmo as manager but actually relised what i would be saying!!

I think it's Stoke he's at on the coaching staff. He is also involved with England at one of the levels (under 21's?).
He seems to be happy as a coach. Not sure if he has the inclination to be a No.1 (frankly who can blame him!). But he did marry a Shrewsbury lass (well Hanwood anyway) and still retains links with the Town.
He has fond memories of his time here and defends the name of STFC to the hilt as I remember someone telling me of a story recently when someone tried to put the Town down and our Nige was having none of it.

There is one person who is desparate to get back into management and that is Steve Cotterill, but despite his absolute pedigree as coach and manager has got himself a reputation as two faced, but worth the risk I reckon

My mate the Cheltenahm fans tells me that Steve Cotrill will never take a job in the Conf again - he told the fans as much after CTFC got out of the division - he hates it - can you blame him ;D

I'm hoping that Telford will surive and that Mick Jones will keep his job but if he is forced out then he would be high up my list.
