Just received the news that he's gone out on a month's loan to Northwich. So that's another option closed for Quinn. Doubt if Glen Tolley will get a sniff either. So where the hell are our wide men for the next few games? Please.....not Kevin Street again.

Let's hope it means JQ will have room to bring in a new winger and full-back asap

watched the reserves last night and was disappointed with Banim, Fitzpatrick & G Tolley....for 3 players that should be busting a gut to get into the side, they should be doing more Banim scored, but was guilty of trying to overplay all night, and as Pilch said, sometimes he was trying too hard, going for the same ball with other strikers etc etc Don't get me wrong, i like Jody but he still looks a couple of yards off the pace after 6 months of full time training Fitz did ok, but he isn't going to displace anyone from the first team and quite frankly Glenn Tolley was dismal everyones been harping on about giving these players a go but maybe quinny's job isn't so easy after all

I did not go to the reserves, but JQ sees these players in training most days. If he thought they were capable of doing a good job I'm sure they would have had a go.
People always assume (esp after a defeat) that players not in the team would do better, and it is usually not true. They are not in the team because the manager does not think they are good enough.

I dont think weve ever had so many players go out on loan in one season. That's 4 that are now out on loan.

But the question remains why on earth did JQ bring Fitz here in the first place if he has no confidence in him and as far as I can see never did!

But faginy one would have hoped JQ had a look at him before he signed him! yeah i know what you're saying. but Fitz was a key player in the conference for Halifax last year (15 goals), maybe the standard has got harder or summit

Quin won't have been the first Town manager to sign players and then realise they are no better than what he has already got!

I think he deserves more of a chance. Thought fitz ok at the start of the season. Sooner have him LW than Street.
Why loan him out when Sammy out? Hope that means we get a decent left-sided signing then.

If Fitz is inferior to Jags, he'll be lucky to get a game in the Sunday League.

He needs to bring a loan winger(s) in until the end of the season, it's quite obvious that Fitz and Glenn are not up to it and Ryan Lowe is inconsistant to say the least.
Given time then Fitz could be an option but his time at the club is running out fast and it seems that his name will be first on the released list at the end of the season.
As Quinny has so many contacts in the footballing world it seems starnge he that no-one has come in yet, maybe we will hear something next week...
