Following on from Glasgow Shrew's request for information from other users about Prague, and the number of replies, I thought it would make an interesting change to get away from the disappointment of Tuesday night, and refresh our memories and share them with fellow B & Amber users of our favourite holiday destinations. I'll start the ball rolling, and say that for our silver wedding, my wife and I went on a P & O cruise around the Med. The whole twelve days was fantastic (apart from one night each of sea sickness( ), but the best stopping off place of them all was Madeira.

This is a tough cookie of a question...
1) Vegas / grand canyon 2) Sydney 3) Gambia
and I'm hoping to add Porto and New York to the list in the next 6 months!

For beaches and relaxation there is no contest....MUSTIQUE. Not your average beach fortnight!
Just a stones throw from numerous other fabulous Caribbean Islands/test match venues too, should you want to venture out a bit.

Kenya, still the only place to well and truely take my breath away, didn't want to leave and cant wait to return. It is one of those places where you step off the plane and you know you are on a different continent, people amazingly upbeat and friendly considering the woeful living conditions most endure. If you go get away from the hotels and go as native as poss, it will live with me forever.

Had the best time on my 2 visits to Florida. Have travelled all over Europe, 3 places really standing out, Prague, Munich and Monte Carlo. Later on in the year, our honeymoon will be a Med cruise so am looking forward to some more European cities

And here is the perfect advert for Kenya, my sister is a travel agent and pretty good at her job but even she couldnt promote it like this ;D www.weebls-stuff.com/toons/29/

Mine are the Lake District, the Yorkshire Moors and the Scottish Borders, would love to explore more of Ireland (only been to Dublin and Wexford), would need to save up hard for anywhere outside of Europe though. For some reason the Isle of Man is also appealing, and we still havent been invited to the IoM Football Festival

Nepal is my favourite worldwide destination. It's a real slap in the face type experience, so completely different and so vibrant in the cities, when you go out into the wild the scenery and culture are lifetime memories.
In europe, Lisbon is a fantastic city that rivals Barcelona and Madrid but does'nt suffer all the hype that goes with them.

Flanders satisfies my wife's interest in researching WW! history and mine in Flemish art and architecture.
It also satisfies a mutual interest in great beer, chips and chocolate
