Just a selection of the rubbish
I've just seen Mick Jones and David Preece coming off and they said 'the best team lost'," - that never happened!!!
I'm delighted with the performance and not the result." we herd this one last night but its shocking really
"I've played in a lot of derbies and I was fortunate to win a few but on the occasions that you do lose it's the end of the world and I'm absolutely devastated. The players are too and I've got to lift them because they put a lot of work in and they're all sitting their with their heads in their hands so it shows you how much they care." - bit late to care now mate
"I've got to give them a little bit of credit as much as it hurts to admit it," ohh your so nice - where were the we under performed comments

Pumping up his position so he can brush criticism aside from inside the club and from the fans.
Telford deserved their victory. Anyone with an ounce of sense would not have begrudged them that. Very unsporting.

As I have stated many times before.
You have got far more issues with JQ and his inability to make sensible comments to the media than we ever have with MJ!
MJ is a light-hearted type who plays on the quotation thing, I really think that JQ is just out of his depth to be honest and will cause real damage, you mark my words!

I think we need to reflect on things a bit more. So many people are quick to say the Town are rubbish, JQ is rubbish and Telford are good.
Have a look at the league table and then think about the games against Telford. How many of their players would you want in our squad ? Would you want to watch their football every week ? Would you rather Mick Jones or JQ ?

Telford's 'workmanlike' brand of football has worked against us three times this season though

It may not have if we hadn't dicked about with playing 3-4-1-2 against them, twice. 4-4-2! 4-4-2! Fitzpatrick on the left, Ryan on the right, Banim on the bench to mix things up, Cramb sent home to think about his attitude and come back when he feels like playing football. Let's play a set system, stick to it, and beat crap teams. Jimmy shouldn't need to accomodate Cramb away from home - he should tell him straight "We need maximum effort away from home, so try harder, or don't play - up to you"

Personally seeing what both men said about the game last night Jones seems to know what he's on about whereas Quinn just talks in soundbites and cliches! After the game I heard Mick Jones say he told one of his players to run at O'Connor because "he may have been a good professional but he can't run all night". If he can see this then why can't Quinn. It quite simple: Jones out thought Quinn all over the pitch last night.

It could have been Kevin Ratcliffe saying that - at least he didn't say we weren't at the races.

Why harp back to Ratcliffe?
Quinn has his own set of cliches and his excellent way of dealing with the media shows, he can talk the talk but sorry he certainly is not walking the walk.
He has been found out. If only he would admit when he gets it wrong. Maybe he should just get on with managing, organising and motivating the team and not worry about telling us the rubbish he wants us to believe through his wonderful media dealings.
