I was going to stay off here today in order to reflect and not make rash comments that i would later regret but bugger it. Last night and still today i have to say that for the first time i can remember i'm embarrassed to be a supporter of Shrewsbury Town Football Club. I take no pride in being associated with such a one dimensional, heartless football team. The display last night was a disgrace, not the result , i can take defeat god knows we've experienced enough of it over the years., quite simply Telford gave us a lesson on organisation, attitude and application. I think that i've been in denial since we went down that it was only for short while and that if the team showed the same committment as the supporters then everything would be alright, last night was the final realisation that we are indeed a conference team and look likely to remain so for the foreseeable future. Everyone associated with the playing side of things down the meadow need to sit down and re evaluate their committment to STFC. If they don't want to put in the effort then ship out and let others grasp the nettle.

Well Said Jamo.
Have to admit to not feeling any better than last night regarding STFC.
I have also heard about the damage done to the Wellington pub caused by what Radio Shropshire called Shrewsbury Fans, I call them a waste of space myself

The attitude was all wrong from certain players.

To make matters worse jamo, you could have got your slingbacks stuck in a road drain!

Good post Jamo, I'm also ashamed of my club and the way it's fallen from grace, as supporters we have been badly let down over the years and last night really was the final nail in the coffin.
The players can walk away from this though, they can walk away at the end of match and not feel s**t. They still get paid, they still have Quinny saying 'you played well boys' and no-one will tell them how they have let the club, the Town and the supporters down with last nites lackluster display. Proud to play for Shrewsbury? My Arsen are they!

There not fans there people who associate themselves with the club, those particular individuals had no intention of going to the game and did'nt, they trashed the pub just before the game finished, as Town fans left through the exits the fire engines were going through the lights with sirens going.

there were also fire engines going down that way when i was walking to the ground from the bridgebuilder though dunc so maybe there was trouble before and after. the star says it was before and then they were escorted to the ground why not escort the w****rs onto the nearest train out of telford instead?

Oh for ****s sake jamo, I understand you being upset and I apologise for straying off subject but it was an innocent question. And if you knew me you would know I am far from a fancy dan, so leave it out yeah And what do you mean 'treat it respectfully' its a post on an internet message board not a funeral procession. And they ain't 'poncy dappers', proper shoes they are
