Telford - nice little ground, no fans, fairly solid defence and battling midfield, lots of time wasting and cheating.
Shrewsbury - Tolley was a liability tonight, at fault in the run up to the penalty, always wants extra time and touches on the ball. The forwards don't look like scoring in a month of Sundays. Darby was great first half but hardly touched the ball second and was lucky not to get booked half time when he was livid with the officials. Cramb is infuriating, he is slow off the mark, loiters offside, doesn't jump ever and goes down lack a sack of at the slightest contact when he is in good positions. O'conor battled hard but his first time ball was invariably dire. Far too many hospital balls and missed passes from the midfield, and so many attempted crosses failed to beat the first defender or went tamely straight to the keeper. Tinson was saved by Howie as he stood around with his arm in the air like Tony Adams, and played some poor backpasses to Howie which he didn't even acknowledge. Many dodgy clearances to nobody/straight up in the air/ to white shirts. Rodgers chased around like a terrier but didn't get any decent service in and around the box.
Quinn - 3.4.1.2 Why??? We play 4.4.2 every game and then he changes it against Telford. His instructions to Cramb second half "Stay in the box!!" What's that supposed to mean??
Officials - Awful as usual. Why do they let the time wasting go? Why do they give Luke no protection? Why do they constantly miss blatant handballs?
