from confguide (http://www.confguide.com) "Nearest station is Wellington (Telford West), not Telford Central (though not all services stop at Wellington). Coming out of the station you should see the Station Hotel. Turn left up the small steps and continue past the bus station. Turn left at the main road, then take the first right. Follow this road through to the T-junction, where you take a left. Continue to the Watling Street traffic lights. Turn left, and the ground is 200 yards on the left. " Few decent pubs around, like the Cock but think most town fans are heading to the 'Bridgebuilder' which is near the big Tescos. I'm not sure of directions from the ground to the Bridgebuilder tho

Never ever on time the trains mate - get an early one - to get to the bridge builder from the ground - on the main road past the bucks head - follow it to the big roundabout witha dule carriage way and then follow the road to the right (but stay on the right hand side of the road)- at the next roundabout enter the retail park to the right and the bidgebuilder is to the right of the Tescos garage!!!!!
I so did not want to risk getting a train and missing the game today - drove into work for the first time in a month (to birmingham!)

the 6:19 isn't too bad. It is due to arrive in Shrewsbury at 6:07 from Brum so if it is running a little late it will make its times up by not waiting for 12 mins. I have had to catch that train dozens of times and it has usually left Shrewsbury by 6:30 at the latest.
If you catch an earlier one I think it is around half 5.
