Can any of the attendees of the Q&A with Rob Bickerton put up a summary for those of us who couldn't make it...

If you were a guest Id jump down your throat... but Ill be gently and nice now you have signed up Nev - this post could be confusing for some as they may be unaware that the main event is on Thur 24 ... but last night there was a pre-meeting so RB could guage opinions prior to Thurs.

Thought the guy was very professional. Roland was bang on form last night.
The guys seemed upbeat. Very sorry to be losing Steve who was also there along with Keith.
Ron has good background in terms of being a football fan (Blackpool) and of course Macclesfield, and along with the good feedback received from the Silkmen Trust certainly is someone I think the supporters in general, and the supporters groups can work with.
The plans for the corners were talked about and I raised the issue about Supporters Bar, but the figures dont add for a stand alone on the latter as previosuly stated.
However I'd watch for annoucement on another possible facility linked with 5 a aside.
Really enjoyed it. Dont want people to think it was a love in of the favoured few, far from it, but walked away feeling more confident about the clubs future than I have for a long time.

Its already been annouced that Powerleague thing, i had an email off them 2 weeks ago saying it would be open before games... I would agree with Ade, personally my negativity over the last few weeks, we given a good dose of perspective last night, which i needed!!! As for Rob, really nice bloke, easy to talk to and knows his football. Hes very passonate about the game, and im pleased to know hes batting for us now in deals and negotiations... I would say to everyone get along next week and meet the guy, or say hello to him at the game, you will know what were talking about, and i wish him all the best. And i know im always saying that noboday from the club apart from whitters reads this board.... well i was wrong!!!

I would endorse what Ade and Glynn have said above. Rob Bickerton gave a very good account of himself and was very interesting about his experiences as Macclesfield Chairman. Also a good insight into how the politics of the football league operate. (There was an excellent story about what happened in a vote on reducing promotion and relegation between League 1 and League 2 to three up- three down.) Rob is sufficiently well regarded to almost be elected to the FL Board as League Two rep (he only failed by two votes). His knowledge in this regard would appear to be a distinct asset to the club. He is very keen to meet the fans and answer questions. I would urge as many people as possible to go the the Q&A with Rob on Thursday. (7.30pm in the Rowley Bar - London Pride on draft )

Not sure if is the right forum to discuss such matters but did anyone raise the issue about the stewarding and the standing issues?
