There is a reason why STFC bring so many away fans.... Ratcliffe-defenders=Conference+STFC=new intrest=more fans=chance of going up=Telford Staying- Luke=disapointment+Banim=Happiess+"The Whitton"=Cramp=Pain-Quinn=Ratcliffe ........ no idea what your are going on about there, but what a superb away following, simply awesome

Was talking to a steward at half time and he said that they were going to declare the away support at 2400 with a very telling wink in his eye.
What can it mean? Surely clubs don't try to defraud Mr Brown of tax money !!!! I'm sure STFC would never do such a thing

there was no more than 400 in the "away" end, plus seats which were nearly all shrewsbury, there were a lot from STFC there today, there really was

Simply fantastic away support once more from Salop.
Must admit I think 2450 is a very conserved estimate from Northwich. Thought it was more towards 3,000. Surely there were more town fans than space in the home end?

;D Understandable TBH! I didn't know what i was on about either! I basically meant that we are for once a big team, that everyone wants to beat. This is a novelty for our follower's, and our great numbers are well reconised throughout other clubs etc. Well done STFC, fantastic- and TBH for reconising what a stupid post that was! Up the Shrews!

I would have thought 2900-3000 town fans but i have to agree the atmosphere was mainly poor i think the weather had a lot to do with it - and the fact that the northwhich fans were really quite for the whole game

The support for Town was absolutely awesome, Wincham Park was 'Gay Meadow Cheshire' for the day.

Had to be 3000 Town fans there. We need an inquiry into that official total

I would have thought the 2450 is what they are declaring as the number of Town fans standing. You cant tell me there was 818 Northwich fans in the "away end" and their small section of seats. I bet the 2450 is because the area of the ground we were in is only meant to take 2500

I was going to go for my early pint in there club house but on arriving and seeing the amount of stfc fans outside the ground i decided to get inside before there's a lock out.

There was a excellent pub which me and Evo visited before the match called 'the Antrobus Arms' which was a few miles off the M56 Junction 10, any pub named after Throb has to be good

Having considered going with the boys we were a bit worried that it would end up like Tamworth and decided that it would probably not be wise to take them. Am I right in thinking we made the right decision?

I think we can all give ourselves a pat on the back for our excellent turnout today, and after 5 away games ive been too this season i've seen us win(at last) ;D. Stood with some Macc' fans who had come to watch Tinno', who wished us luck for the rest of the season and hoped to see us in div 3 next season, and was also talking to Mr Quinn's Potential future father and mother in law and girlfreind,(Name dropping im getting like Mad Mick Moans from the Muck Shed) ;D and the bloke was mentioning a possible new left back soon? Bless ol' Gregor you cant deny he gives his all, shame about the ability ;D. So overall enjoybale day and freindly locals. P.S Anyone else notice how close Wittons and Northwichs new ground are, its like Dundee or Nottingham. Floreat Salopia

I think anyone below say 5'6" didn't see a lot, my 3 kids were taken through the fenced off part, so my eldest lad could see quite well he said, but my smallest still managed to bump his head when he fell, i didn't know untill he got out of the car at KFC and his hat off pointed to his lump like ET and said "ouch" ;D

Didn't we have a lovely time the day we went to Cheshire, A wet windy day, where the home were away And tickets under 10 pound, y'know And on the way back, I fancied a snack And stopped at a garage for Ginsters Down the '49 flew a convoy of blue As the rain came doooowwwnnn.
Top trip out for my first away fixture, some sympathy for the poor Pie Muncher big-framed steward at our end who got some earache.
I'm sure they did some creative accounting with the figures for each end, but who can blame 'em for trying to squeeze everyone in who travelled. Well, apart from the HSE...

Bloody cold. Have to say we stood not far off the half way line. A few rows infront of Mysticsdad. There was quite a lot of room.
Bloomin nice little ground going on there, NO PILLORS!!!!!
