No one in their right mind can seriously criticise about 3000 Ecstatic aand relieved fans going on to the pitch in a perfectly acceptable, safe way to congratulate the team. Loads including myself went across and shook hands with the Barnet supporters to commiserate with them. It'sa hell of a way to lose a chance of getting back into the Div 3.

I went on.
I had no intention to until Darren Moss' penalty hit the back of the net.
I'll contribute to the fine if I have to....... ;D

Went on the pitch, couldn't thnik of anything else to do to be honest.
Hugged Sedge and cramb, but it seemed liek Cramb wasn't too bothered. Also patted the penalty spot and got chalk all over me hand! didn't realsie it would be wet!
Very good natured, most players seemed to enjoy it, not least Ryan Lowe!

The official STFC steward walked in front of the Riverside from one end to the other and said "no problem going on the pitch, just behave"

Recall a similar situation at Morecambe. This time is was the Main STFC steward, Laptop said it last week at Morecambe, also refreshing not to see a policeman in sight , other than the bit they segrated in the away end

Got myself on TV slapping Tinno on the back, and also managed a few words with Jamie, Trev and Lukey. Ended up in a hug with Ant when Mossy scored, then turned round and got an elbow in the face from a girl On the pitch I saw Glyn, Joey, Gallon, faginy, Pete Downward amongst others...joined Rob for a natter with the Barnet lads (great bunch ), saw an old mate from Idsall...amazing day!

I heard some of the steward's brief, which sounded very thorough and was one reason the gates were late opening. Teyh had to be prepared for each eventuality - ie Barnet or Shrews scores a winner on the final whistle, or at the end of first half extra time, etc. The instructions were - that if Shrewsbury were to win at any of these points, the gates were to be opened, and they were to ensure fans entered the pitch safely, which they did, so that was good stewarding in my opinion. Knowing this, I think I cleared the wall from two rows back! ;D ROLL ON STOKE
