did you watch Gerry Daly or Ian Woan (dont laugh).. they were too good for the team and thus got frustrated sometimes.
John Bond was right when he said you dont win leagues with thick players, im not saying our players are thick but Jemmo and the likes of Gerry Daly had a football brain and were able to see things happening well before others.. like snooker players plan their shots ahead
discuss !

Oxford away 2001. Jemmo was awesome. Gave 100%.
York away 2001. The only time Jemmo showed any effort was to kick / stamp the York player to get himself sent off in the 90th minute.
I've never been able to make up my mind about the guy. He was fantastic half the time, and terrible the other half.

Defend him all you like, he was captain when we were relegated to the Conference.
That sort of legend we can do without.

If anyone is a success then they are a hero, whilst if they fail then they won't be. Thats the way life works. If the photos you take are crap (I know they aren't but take this as an example) then will you keep getting praised? No. If every pic you take is world class (like they are) then you will praise. As for Jemmo, I don't think he failed or succeeded. He has obviously split the fanbase about 50:50.

An adapted quote from Einstein which I think may be applicable here
'Without Nigel Jemson STFC would have still gone down.
However without Nigel Jemson they would have never beaten Everton'
Sorry I'm playing Devil's Advocate now...

without Nigel Jemson we would have never raked in all the cash and been able to fork out a huge wage bill this season...

Haven't we had this dicussion before! Well my opinion hasn't changed, he was a big headed idiot and did as much harm to team morale as ratcliffe did. I've said it before but beating Everton means absolutely nothing compared to the dismal and disgusting performances churned out week after week by that bunch of over rated big time charlies that we had on the books last year! The day he comes back to the meadow I'll bugger off to Ballymena! But then we're all entitled to our opinions!
