There's been a lot of talk on here slagging off Lukey boy off, he's not had the best run of form by my god he's still one hell of a footballer.
Lets get behind the lad and not slag him off, build his confidence - we know what he can do, we're lucky to have him at our club.

Luke is a star and WILL score a lot of goals while he's playing for STFC

Yes. If everyone had the same attitude during the game we'd be in a better position.
A special football talent, and it has been a privelege to watch him play for my team.

Agreed with all that said so far.
Good luck Luke - your form is bound to turn soon and there's no reason why it won't start this coming Sunday.

Phil...heres a positive comment to set the ball rolling....................sell him now before the situation gets any worse...... As TBH said the other day he aint a team player any more for us,his mind is elsewhere and it isnt rocket science to see that he and JQ dont see eye to eye............. I love the bloke and I'll be shouting him on on Sunday,if I get off my sick bed,to get a hat trick or better, but times up in my book,he's a legend but things cant go on as they have been IMO any longer,if he keeps playing the way he has lately who the hell is going to want him anyway..............
Bet I get some stick for that, hope to see you Sunday................

Mr Quinn may well think that Cramb and Darby are our best chance for escape from this league, but i feel their lack of general mobility, pace and skill is causing us to play into the hands of the opponents defence (HOOOF)
I would like to see Banim and Rodgers upfront, this probably isn't possible as Darby wasn't bought to be a bench warmer and according to Cramb (Shrewsworld interview) if he's fit he expects to play. (rather arrogant)
I hope Luke stays and at least helps us into the play-offs.
Are the play-offs a home and away, or just a one off game on a nuetral ground?

Yes, Luke is probably too good for the conference, actually there's no 'probably' about it, he is! But I'm happy and grateful that he's sticking with us and i'm sure he wants Shrewsbury Town to get promoted just as much as we do. Like 'LoyalShrew' said, we're lucky to have him ;D Go get 'em Lukey!!!!

Selfish? Team player?
Too be a decent striker you need to be selfish. Nuff said. So what if he has a shot instead of passing. It shows he still has the confidence and the balls to attemtp to do what he's supposed to do.
As for team player. he got booked on Tuesday because he chased back after giving the ball away. He went into 50/50 tackles as you'd expect a defender too and he continued to chase back and help out midfield and defence up untill he was subbed.
If thats not playing for the team, then you tell me what is.
He's our best player, he's our one consistant match winner, and he showed some loyalty by not demanding a move in the summer, lets show him some loyalty now.
Good luck Luke.

Luke- if I had my doubts and thought you were maybe just lacking in motivation because you just wanted to move on, I'm sorry. When I watched you play, you really stood out. Nobody else had the same work-ethic or fighting spirit. If they could all have caught that same will to succeed, then Shrews wouldn't have gone down, anyway. From then on you became my favourite player. You are undoubtedly a star. I'm sorry for doubting you- I love you to bits and so does my grand-daughter.

Anyone who doubts Luke and his ability wasn't at Exeter. A typical no holds barred Luke performance when he came on where he chased everything and gave his all for the cause. The icing was put on the cake with a truly fantastic, but typical Luke goal.
You haven't lost it Lukey boy, the vast majority of Town fans know that and are still with you.
LUKE, YOU ARE A LEGEND

About time people started to get behind the lad, yes he's had a poor start to the season but all strikers go through rough patches. Luke must start on Sunday and in my opinion would be the first name on my team sheet every week. He scares defenders silly and creates so much space for others, the lad is not yet a legend, but he's the nearest we've got!
