Does anyone know him, Im sure I used to knock about with him about 20 years ago, he drove a purple TR7, played darts very well (for the Prince of Wales in Belle Vue) and worked for BT. He lived in Middletown, on the Welshpool road.
Is this the same person? (I finally lost contact with him about 15 years ago, I think)

I'm sure some people will be able to answer better, but as far as I know, yes. Sounds like the right description, and he did used to work for BT for a while. His favourite car is now a stupid birght yellow thing with the numberplate '1 TNS'

Wish I had a stupid bright yellow car. Looks like an Impretza to me, though I suppose it could be a Mitsubishi Evo. Both are quality motors.

When he worked for BT we called him HOG. He was thrown in the River Severn more than once and was often tied up to the Exchange racks in the Telephone Exchange for his cheek. I believe he moved away to London working for another company and then started his own business. The rest is history, a very rich man.

Hog is one of those guys who you will think of as one of the boys or complete and utter Tit. I got to know Hog in his BT days as my mates worked for BT. It is true he a lot of stick in his younger days but that has moulded him into the character he is. If you can't take the p**s, which he is very good at dishing out, you won't get on. A very clever bloke & businessman who has a strong loyalty for the area he comes from, and still knocks around with his mates of yesteryear.
He has'nt had much time for the Town either in the past as he felt the directors were unambitious.
