Definately, they must have put in so much hard work on the campaign - fantastic effort from all involved

Never cared for Coe much, I was always an Ovett man. Do not like the political party he represented and great joy when he came to the Meadow in the early 80s to watch his beloved Chelsea get beaten. But you have to say what a job the lad has done. Thatcher once said he knew nothing about Sports Politics, how wrong she was. He over from the Yankee bird about a year ago as top dog on the bid team and has driven this on to victory. His speech yesterday morning made me proud to be British. Well done Lord Coe, a knighthood awaits Glad to hear he is to continue in his roll. We need more like him getting involved in preparing for the Games, the Redgraves and Pinnsents of this world. People who have been there and done that.

Well done Lord Coe, a knighthood awaits Is a knighthood better than a lordship? Can't find anything to say whether or not...
