As we sometimes sing:
"Wem Ales - tastes like p**s, Wem Ales - tastes like p**s."

I wear a 'Taking on Le Tour' one.
What does that make me Wem Ales.
Try this from Geoffs diary,
TWO years ago today it was confirmed that I had leukaemia. Today was another grim day - pouring, cold rain all day long - but no matter how dire things got out there on the road, it was nowhere near as dire as that day at the Q.E. in Birmingham in 2003.
What a star.
You talk total crap and hide behind some daft name hoping for a reaction.
What a sad and lonely life you must lead.
PS I have several spare 'Taking on LeTour' wristbands if you want one, PM me Wem Ales and I will mail it too you.

I'm sure its been mentioned before, but do people not feel like utter twits walking around with something that you normally wear with locker key attached at the swimming baths. That or you look like you are on day release from a mental hospital. The anti-racism and 'poverty' ones are the most sick-making, although frankly they'd annoy me even if they were in aid of a good cause (not that they've been associated with one yet to my knowledge). The one benefit is that they are rather like the 'Aids awareness Ribbons' as a pointer for a smug, narrow-minded middle-class bigoted person not worth talking to. Why don't you start a new trend and wear one around your neck........

So the shrewsTrust wrist band isn't associated with a good cause - ho hum!
The great thing about a wristband is that if it does make you look like a prat you can take it off.
Unfortunately when you are an absolute, ignorant, objectionable prat of the highest order you can't do anything about it.

Keep him here - he's fun.
I thought he was one of the eloquent racists in the Nick Griffin style to start with, but sadly his use of discredited authors to support his filthy arguments have taken him far below that level.
He's someone who doesn't watch football, because it is now more expensive and he can't afford £13 to bankroll the high-flying lives led by our young players (LOL!) and is unable to take the simple pleasures from life - for that I truly pity him.
Let him keep reminding us of that please.

i keep banning certain ip's trouble is some are shared by other users and we unban them another problem is some of the banned ips seem to expire after x amount of days even though i choose 'ban forever' Im not the most technical of people, but my understanding is that you get an IP address per internet session, and so with broadband users, as the connection is on all the time, they keep the same IP number for a fair while, but if they are a dial-up user, their number will be different each time. AOL are a particular bugger, as they use the same IP address for a large group of users all at once, as opposed to giving individual users their own IP number, like other ISP's. (from experience of running another board, im guessing the ones you are talking about all start with 195. ) I dont think theres an answer to sorting this out for banning, other than contacting a persons IP provider if they are a constant nuisance.

sorry to say this but i agree with wem ales that those wrist bands are ****ing stupid. dont agree with much else he says though! all this hoo har about banning him is very reminiscent of the kind of knee jerk tabloid vigilanteism (sp?) so hilariously lampooned in that brass eye special on peadophilia. it's almost as if some of you want to ban him because you're scared that you might share some of the same views (but are afraid to say of course). let him get on with it and prove his flawed ideas through adult dialogue not brute force. anyway wristbands: IMHO there is nothing worse than people turning charity into fashion statements to draw attention to themselves about 'how caring' they are. charity is about modesty. just ask DJs smashie and nicey.
