I dont think Aiston will ever be getting desperate, he has has clubs from lots of different levels wanting him.

Forgive me for this observation, as I am not exactly close to the subject, nor have I seen much of Aiston, but:
What exactly has this fellow achieved in his career?
He was sold from Sunderland a few years ago after failing to make the grade, and then impressed for a short period of time, before performing at a mediocre level in a poor side (twice) and average in a decent side for the level they are playing against, (once). I don't recall too many rave reviews about the lad last season.
He doesn't appear to have terrorised opponents, scored bagfulls of goals or even scored highly on the effort front. However, he seems to think that he will walk into league 1 teams, a level at which he has not played for the last 4 years!
Personally, I think he has delusions of grandeur and, based on recent performances, a deal with Burton is about what he has earned and a two-year deal may not be a bad thing for him!
Am I so wide of the mark (as usual) on this one???

The man had flair - something we may be lacking this season.

All that Aiston lacked was final product....which sadly is what we need

He doesnt think he will walk into a league one side, he knows it, wait a few days and you'll all be proven wrong, fickle fans

Discuss.

Sammy is our only real cult hero since Victor. Discuss. MAAS had far more members than the subsequent SAAS imitation. I think that tells its own wonderful little story, as much as I liked Sammy.

Sammy is our only real cult hero since Victor. Discuss. Probably why we have struggled over the last few years then. Burton would be about his level I would guess - don't forget the injury niggles as well
