I've just recieved an e-mail off ebay saying I need to update my personal information or my account will be suspended and I had to click a link with a form on it.
I went to ebay and logged on and there was no problem so I was wandering if the entire thing was just a scam to get my bank info?
Anyone else had anything like this?

Forward an official ebay email to ebay and they would come back and tell you it didn't come from them. Muppets.
Anything that says it comes from ebay / paypal / your online bank account that asks you to follow links to update or verify information is always rubbish. Official mail will tell you to sign in to your account the normal way if there is a problem.
As for ebay, sign in through ebay.co.uk and go to my ebay. The control panel on the left has a heading called "my messages". Anything official from ebay will show up in there.
I get maybe 10 of these emails a day. They love sending me ones saying congratulations on becomming a powerseller. Use this link to sign in blah blah blah.
As soon as they get your ID they list mobiles, plasma TVs etc on 24 hour auctions. By the time ebay have pulled their fingers out the auction will have finished and some sucker will have been conned out of hundreds of pounds.
