Am I going mad or did someone leave at the start- I felt sure the tall left footed guy (forget his name) was there at the start- did he get injured ? Great game by the way

Obviously wasn't there but can I presume that this tall lad was wearing a full Man Utd strip?

Gricey left, due to the numbers there and that the teams were in his opinion one sided.
Will be getting in touch with individuals about this.
One week there is 6, then the next 14.
It is hard to try and organise it, especially when people don't show up and when people just turn up on spec.
The other thing is people giving late notification (within a couple of hours before 5pm start).
I know it is not always possible to give earlier notice, but if Pete has been on lates on Sat he tends to sleep till mid afternoon, so 24 hour notice at least would be appreciated.
It is just a case of trying to be fair to everyone and ensuring the game is enjoyable for all those there.

I'll let Pete know. Ideally we want 10 every week. Failing that, as near to it one way or the other. We are trying to get a regular squad of people together. Those that play the majority of weeks are, on the whole, (one or two notorious exceptions, mentioning no names) good at letting Pete know if they are playing or not. Just a case of educating the others to try and ensure enjoyable games each week

As you know I texted Pete and you last week to see if it was worth putting a message on the Board to boost the numbers as it had been 3/4 a side the couple of weeks prior to that. I think we had 12 as a result so I didnt do the same this week but just advised Jamo (who was interested in a game) to contact Pete. I know it s difficult accomodating non-regulars but I hope something is worked out because its very enjoyable when there is plenty of players there.

I'll be back in the summer for a few weeks - will i be ok to join in then? As per my post Phil, you will need to contact Pete Bell and advise him of your availability (the earlier done the better). If you need Pete's contact details pm me. It may be that earlier in the week Pete says no. But if people then drop out he can always get back in touch and see if you are still available

Sorry about yesterday, it would appear that i am one of the guilty ones. Won't happen again.
Having said that, it's a bit girly to walk off in a huff just because you're upset about something isn't it ? Why didn't the bloke just say something and i would have gladly stepped aside to allow the regulars to have their game.
