do you think that we will be able to choose exactly which seats we want or just which stand when we buy the season ticket? maybe a reserved sticker on the first game and then you write the seat number down inside the book? after all its a big decision, i'll probably sit there for many years hopefully (not none stop, just on match days )

I expect you will be allowed to sit anywhere within the stand that you choose.

I don't think there's any need to worry about this for the time being!

I don't think there's any need to worry about this for the time being! I thought Telford officials would now be bricking not considering football related issues 12 months in advance

I imagine the point of having a season ticket at an all seater ground is that you stick to a numbered seat, rather than have a free for all.

Too right , Scoot . I,d hate to miss out on my regular rant at the person sitting in my seat at the Meadow when the Stewards say "sit wherever"!

I'd imagine that the reason you'd have a season ticket for any football ground is that it's the cheapest option if you are going to see most of the games.
For the majority of the ground I'd expect you wouldn't have to nominate a seat - can you imagine the stewarding problems involved if an ordinary paying spectator sat in your seat and refused to move.

Me and Dad would frequently shift people from our seats in the 2002/3 season as we rolled in at 2.55pm. One of the selling points of shifting season tickets (we should be aiming for 2000 at least next year) in the new stadium would be a visit into the ground to 'pick your seat'. I put this idea to Keith and Judy at a Ticketing Group meeting and they seemed receptive. It is a pretty easy system to run. Simply sticker a seat each year. Then, those seats that are ticketed are for the season ticket holder concerned whilst those that aren't are first come first served

I dont know if theres much point reserving seats in a ground thats going to be half empty, but if we do I would like to attend at least the first game or a couple of decent friendlies to check out what the atmosphere is like and where other people are.
Having stood on the Wakeman for many years in the same spot there is one gentleman in particular I would not wish to be near again.

Having stood on the Wakeman for many years in the same spot there is one gentleman in particular I would not wish to be near again. Yes, I know him. Middle Aged greying fellow, has shown Man Utd tendencies on this board, tends to air his ill-founded footballing views rather too loudly, and has a fondness for dancing on tables at race meetings. Jamo I believe they call him. Anyway, good luck in your quest to escape him.

Theres absolutely no need I try my best to be helpful and engage with people who frankly are not worthy and all i get in return is this constant ageist abuse. I'm beginning to understand how poor old enochshrew feels now.

I try my best to be helpful and engage with people who frankly are not worthy Hang On..... I wasted an entire second half earlier this season fathoming one of your trivia questions about JR Hartley's son scoring against Brazil if I remember right If that's not taking advantage of people who have lunched well I don't know what is

What we need is a fossils section for this board where the old and infirm can chunder away to their hearts content. I'll have a word with soupie and wiggy to see if they're interested.
