So - how are peoples diets going?
I've been on a new regime at the gym that concentrates on fat burning and have cut down my over-eating dramatically. Over the past two weeks I've lost 3kg (about 6.5 punds) ;D

Seriously though, I am not dieting but I have changed my diet. Been eating foods to assist with running. I certainly notice the difference.
Been running on a regular basis for the last 4 weeks. Have noticed a change in body shape as has Carol.
All in training for the Great North Run and probably the Dublin marathon

As an incentive and to make things easier for her I went on the Atkins diet with my wife in the New Year. She has lost loads of weight(I will not her by giving out figures) and I have lost a stone. OK not a lot I know but I hardly needed to lose anything and I have not stuck to it rigidly I do enjoy all the meat eating this diet involves ;D Rather than go down a gym I get the bike out.

Ive been on a diet for 5 days now . Im morbidly overweight, need to loose about 4 and a half stone. Basically salads with baked potatoes and lean meat, about 2 slices, cereal breakfast, no cokes just water, two cups of tea a day. Being single, it was just so easy to finish work at night and instead of cooking something proper when i got home, call into the chinese or chippy on the way back. I tend to comfort eat a lot as well. Have also stopped eating chocs at work, have an apple instead In all seriousness, i have to do this or im sure i will be dead by the time im 50 and it really is starting to scare me.

I really hadnt bothered at all until this week decided to be pro active and signed up to a GI (glycemic index) healthy eating plan with e-diets so I have to weigh in each week and they provide me with a shopping list and complete meal plan for the week
Its a complete change to my regime and soooo much to eat for breakfast which im not always managing its 4 meals a day fruit only early on plenty of leafy veg and each meal can be sustituted with a list of about 40 other choices. Ive kinda stuck to it though the forward planning and preparation of meals from scratch although quite easy just need adjusting to (I picked a convenience plan for ease) and Im learning to cook new things and ive discovered sweet potatoes how nice are they
I have signed up initially for 10 weeks and just need to get the fitness side of things kick started now

I went on the Atkins diet with my wife in the New Year. So can you now moan about all opponents and referees without having to think

For the body of an angel but the brain of a fraggle, follow the Reg diet..................
.....cider, lager and doughnuts. Works everytime.
