Does anyone know where to get a decent yet cheap petrol lawn mower, one you push, with a grass collector from? Second hand/first hand not fussed. Tis just our lawn mower has broken again, mums already taped up the handles, its had a new engine and string pull put in, and now apparantly it needs a new rotary blade. And I'm trying to persuade her that she can get a reasonably decent one as opposed to spending £20 every month to get the current one patched up. Thus any help would be gratefully recieved

so theres nothing cheaper? Like a second hand mower centre??? i have put it into google Phil, the only problem is that the skipwith computer is slow, and this is compounded by not having broadband, and the computer struggles to load up most web pages

Check out the small industrial complex on the right, just beyond the turning into Telford estate, towards Monkmoor farm. Sorry, I can't remember the name but they've got new & second hand mowers.

Immediately before the turn into MBM is the location of the mower place in Monkmoor, they always seem to have a few second hand ones there. Although the £100-120 you will spend on a bog standard new one is not going to be much more than you would pay there.
Charlies used to do their basic petrol mower for around £90-95 so that may be worth a go, and B+Q also do 20% off all mowers offers every now and then...................

Are they located at the top of the slope? Nah, its very flat by Eds. Use to have Sunday markets there in the mid 80s. Has a sign outside now advertising the Motorcross they do there.
