As many of us will spend hours in the car over the summer, what are your fave driving tunes? Listening to R2 yesterday going to Brum for a meeting when on came " do anything you wanna do" Eddie and the Hot Rods - Awesome tune - I'd forgotten how much I loved that song. Post your fave - maybe we can put together a B&A Driving Compilation

I like listening to radio 1 - the Moyles show in the morning and the Mills show in the afternoon (if I'm out of work in time!).
Additional to that the albumn being played mostly in my CD player at the mo is the one by Athlete - it's quality.

A top summer driving tune is 'Freebird' by Lynard Skynard The guitar solo on that is one of the most incredible I've ever heard - awesome.... A personal favourite of me for driving to is Begging You by The Stone Roses - but it does seem to make you drive too fast!!!

Mystics dad put down my first choice Golden earing's Radar Love
Riverside my second choice Lynnrd Skynnrd's Freebird
So that leaves me with Steppen Wolfs Born to be Wild or Free's Wishing Well

Got my first speeding ticket driving through Southport listening to Brown Sugar cranked up way too loud on the stereo. Must have driven past THE most obvious speedtrap in the northern hemisphere without seeing it ;D

Listened to Lou Reed on the drive into work this morning -
Last long drive I had Neil Young - Greendale, Unplugged and Harvest.
On the way home - it'll be Michelle Shocked.

Star 69 REM. Sounds like teen spirit Navana Love, Reign Oer Me The Who. All top tunes to have a good sing along to in the comfort of your car.

Bit of a memory stretch for most, but "Going Home" by Ten Years After (live at Woodstock) is currently playing in the car and causing me to get a wee bit too rapid (altho' not by comparison to the Telford Motorway plod by all accounts)

You can sing along to that?! Great tune mind. Today I had the Cold Feet soundtrack on as a bit of something different then as I got to work Gary Glitter's 'Do you want to be in my gang' came on. My windows were open and I'm pretty certain people heard. It was a dark dark moment for me.

That is so spooky Richard - just put two quick tracks on my CD player to calm the nerves before the Hammers playoff Anchorage by Michelle Shocked and Sweet Jane by the Reedmeister
