Got a lot of stick on here when he over the yam-yams but fair play to him, they've only lost once since he over and went from 17th to a 9th place finish. That's pretty impressive.

:)good luck 2 them but his "win" record is only 34% of games, 9 wins 15 draws wasnt it? might be wrong LOL but if so sky lied 2 me i thik they will do well with him, it does sound impressive that they only lost once but when you say out of the 24 games they only won 9, doesnt seem AS impressive. but there again its wolves and things weren't exactly lookin peachy before his arrival!!! lol at least they have a some team confidence i spose

So he signs a 12 month rolling contract to me that means if a London club needs a manager early next season, Glen will go south, compensation will be minimal and the Yam yams can replace Glen with the first premiership casualty.

Given that GP's job was to keep us in the league he did it - and did it very comfortably.

comfortably? theres a word i would associate with our run in to the end of the season What was it, four games to go and we were safe? About as comfortable as it comes for STFC. Give him a chance Ema for crying out loud. He's done everything he said he would to date.

Has anyone read his World Cup Diary? (I will lend it to you harmerhillo). It's a really good read.
A quality coach.

and also one of the reasons the FA were preparing to give him the push before he dug his own hole with those comments.
Good coach, no manmanagement skills.
As for his quote, well it is no win. Either he leaves, which upsets the wolves fans, or he stays, which whilst keeping them happy probably isnt quite what he had in mind or wanted.
I immagine it would involve moving house/renting somewhere around wolvo for a start. Not a nice prospect if you live in London.

Sorry Tricky, got to disagree with you as well His lack of support towards Beckham with that incident when he was sent off was a disgrace. His man to man skills are appaling. Time will tell on this one.

They have got themselves a very good coach- his management record is good, it s his off the field beliefs that have stopped him from achieving more. The 1 month rolling contract is a bit strange- Wolves seem to always find a way of pushing the self destruct button. They had a very good end of season until the last game (when the baggies stayed up )

Time will tell on this one. Feel free to disagree, I even disagree with myself sometimes (oh no he doesn't). Agreed that his man management skills were terrible, but his coaching skills are teriffic and I admire him for that. Still got the potential to be a great manager if he works on those weaknesses. I take it you don't want the book

Hoddle has won over the very sceptical Wolves fans, which is a big part of the battle.
I think they can do it next season - play offs at least

I don't like him at all as a person but I must admit he's not a bad manager.Things didn't work out for him at Spurs but WC 98 was there for England to win and it was only that Danish ref who stopped us. Hasn't done too badly with the Yam-Yams either
