1.Arthur Rowley- considering the man is the top english league goalscorer, besides a tinny spot on the FA website he doesnt recieve anywhere near the recognition he deserves 2.Bob Paisly, humble (from what I've read) won shead loads to trophies, yet is often ranked below Busby, Shankley, Fergie etc 3.Simon Inglis, spends a lot of time covering the achievements of Archibold Leich, worked on the Taylor Report, and also works on numerous working groups to do with football, fans and stadia. Oh and he writes brilliant books on football stadiums.

I'm sure that if peter Schmeichel were here, he would mumble on about Claude Makelelé being the unsung hero of the Premiership as he does so consistently on MOTD.

3.Simon Inglis, spends a lot of time covering the achievements of Archibold Leich, worked on the Taylor Report, and also works on numerous working groups to do with football, fans and stadia. Oh and he writes brilliant books on football stadiums. Hasn't published an updated version of his book for the last nine years though. Also hasn't covered Rugby/Cricket/Athletics grounds. This man is supposed to be the Pevsner of sporing venues. I want to go into my library and have volumes of Inglis to read.
