Have to admit that i chuckled to myself when they appointed him and then laughed even louder when he failed to win any of his first 8 (?) games. Never rated him as a manager and believed west brom were wrong to force megson out. So with some ( ) I would like to give a toast to Bryan Robson for proving the British public wrong, and by actually achieving something of note as a manager

Have to agree with you there, I have never rated Bryan Robson as a manager and with him i thought West Brom had not a chance. LazyShrew is again eating his words.

robson has had some extremely negative and bad press from the tabloids... and it was unjustified imo... he did a great job with boro getting them promoted then 7th in his 1st yr in the prem... went a bit stale after that tho...
its allways nice to prove someone wrong!
well done Mr. Robson!

lets not forget the Bryan Robson (despite achiveing two cup finals) them back down, them up and nearly them down again.
He was heavily backed, big money signings (Emerson, Ravineli, Branca, Juninio etc..)

And that reinforces my point that these teams that come up and start signing 30+ year old foreigners will eventually go down (palace!).

well done to the Bag Ladies - don't think I've met a unpleasant one yet - they all seem to live with their hearts on their sleves - a bit like the town fans

I still reckon Man U played for the draw the other week, as Fergie was quoted as saying he'd love WBA to stay up. Nice political result that was.

baggies would have been safe long ago if games only lasted 85 minutes
i think they threw best part of 20 points away in the last few mins

could the same not be said of palace recently.
last two games they've dropped 4 points due to late equalisers

As a known heavy drinker/alcoholic speaking with a dull Durham monotone, Robson never comes across as much of a manager. I think the Baggies 'lucked out'. Unless the Morose Mackem is replace as manager, Albion are for the drop next season.
