Don't think we will need to concern ourselves with the inadequacies of SABC Councillors for too much longer (nudge nudge wink wink)

A feet described by Bernie Mac earlier this week as "a dream" - far far away from what you have achieved yet i think setting a brand new club up in a week and in its first season getting promotion and breaking alot of records is quite an achievement in its self to be honest

Are you still being assisted by T&W Council in any way financially ?

fantastic achievment by lee carter etc, well done, securing the use of the nbh was the saving factor for telford, if they had lost the use of that ground........

Whilst you have a point. Lets not go overboard.
As has already been said, the supporters were in place, the ground was in place, as were key sponsors and most importantly you had so much support from T+W that they may as well have been directors.
As for breaking club records, as a new club with no history (certanly when it comes to financial aspects) surely you had no records to break???

No one should underestimate the efforts and achievements of AFCTU.
We must learn from them, simple as.

oh right. Shipping in loads of school kids what aeveryone fails to remembers is local businesses sponsored local schools to attend the game at £250 a pop, this was for the ilkeston game, we have broke the league record twice then without doing this and with very few away fans

I'm beginning to lose heavily to ghost and it's costing me money.

Ah in that case, it seems like all those great detectives combined to solve the case of the missing toys then. I like a happy ending

hadnt forgotten that the business' sponsored the kids.
However there is a difference between having 3000+ people willing to cough up their own money to watch a game and a couple of thousand school kids who are going cost free.

Good luck to AFCTU, they have done well and got thier rewards for hard word and dedication, as for tye shipping in of kids for 1 match , i am sure we would welcome it with open hands at the meadow, if only we had a board of directors with get up and go to do it, then again if only we had the businesses willing to fund it in Shrewsbury AFCTU have beaten that record set when the kids were paid for, Twice and have had a good support since for the level they are at. Ant is right a lot to be learnt from that lot down the road.

But how many wouldve got off there arse if it was at kidderminster or somewhere like that you where lucky in the final game and you know it home advantage won it for you so be honest and good luck for next season and lets see how you do in the next step up

If a "point is pointless" does it become a stump ?

Thanks for your support tho!

as regards your answer it wasnt a question of taking most too kiddy is was a question of how many wouldve gone no doubt you wouldve outnumbered them i find the idea of a team playing at home in aplayoff final ridiculous and you were expected to win it p.s.what support
