Like a lot of folks we sell stuff on EBay, or do the odd car boot sale. Couldn't we start a Shrewstrust Auction Board?
The idea would be that people could list stuff they want to sell and give either a percentage (e.g 10%) to the Trust, or (in certain cases) the whole amount.
For example I have the recent Fanzine signed by Luke Rodgers on the front page, just under his piccy - I'd be prepared to sell it and give all monies to the Trust. On the other hand, if say Haz decides to change his golf clubs, he might decide to list them on the Auction Board and give a percentage to the Trust.
You could use similar ideas as EBay (e.g. a starting price for things that you don't want to just give away, or a Buy it Now price for the first person to bid?),
What do you think?
Anyway, as regards the Fanzine - Issue 6 signed by the wee man just under the "Thank You and Good LUck" banner - all proceeds to the Trust. Bidding ends on Friday at 11pm (just after I get home from work!) Postage paid by the winner if overseas.

The whole area of auctions is a growing one and something we can be creative with
Wrexham Supporters Trust recently sold a car with Hamilton out spray painted on it and raised over £500
and as for the Rodgers Programme? What did he say when he saw it?

Something like "why how wonderful, that is a fine tribute that leaves me humbled and deeply grateful for the kind thoughts and sentiments. I am moved as if the gentle wing-beats of a Heavenly host have fluttered across my soul"
or it might have been "cheers Mozza" ;D
