So in the Narrows on saturday there was a stand/stall selling STFC flags and scarves along with Scunny merchandise, who owns the land in the Narrows? is a street trading licence required or is it a free for all. I would dissapointed if the club gave the nodd for the particular trader there as i would rather see Town fans spending the money in the club shop with the club making profit rather than a local street trader , can anyone shed any light ?

Last I knew it was owned by the council up until the main gate. I don't know if that is still the case.

I rang Chris Jarrett down the club and informed him. It really p**sed me off that someone was selling Town merchandise just metres from our own club shop.
Chris was going up to take a look. Don't know what happened after that.

Not condoning it but the retro B&A bar scarfs and B&A checked flags he was selling were very good though!!! Do we sell anything like that in the club shop - if not we should..... and put him out of business...

Agree with what you say Carter, i would like to see those B&A bar Scarfs in the club shop, they were an extremely popular scarf & a big seller in the early 80's, in fact if i remember right i think a Barnet fan still has yours

Its amazing isn't it? Programmes can't be sold in the narrows because of supposed health and safety concerns.
Given the number of people trying to hawk things there on Saturday there should have been piles of corpses in the narrows.
Although, of course, it would have been a perfect day for a massacre as all the bodies would have been easily identifiable because of the utility bills clutched in their still-warm hands.

I bought one of those blue and amber striped scarves from that stall in the narrows and I'm very pleased with the item, I've always wanted one
