Watched them earlier today. Moss was alright if outpaced from a stading start by the onloan Loyd Dyer. Crewe looked awful for most of the first hald, and parts of the second half. Didnt really look like scoring, despite 5/6 good flowing moves. Cochrane was awful, so behind the play that he got away with a couple X rated tackles. Lunt outwide didnt look that interested. etc... However what i will say is that i have criticised the wakeman end for the levels of (un)intelligent abuse handed out to many a town player, but today at Crewe was another experience. I take into account they hadn't won for 20 games, but, right from the starts the players werent cheered when the line up was announced (in fact Darren Moss's name was booed by a few) And from the first whistle untill they scored the second there was consistant abuse levelled at and and every crewe player. Every time Lunt touched the ball he was jeered (could be because he says he wants to leave after 7 years). Steve Jones was constantly criticised, Murdoch slated etc.. Absolutely unbelievable. I'm just glad they werent relegated, otherwise they'd have lynched the first team and Dario for that matter Wonder what Gary peters would have made of it all.

well I'll give you a clue as to a couple of them.
Dario Gradi one of the most celebrated men in British club football.
Darren Moss, played for a little club called Shrewsbury Town, you may have heard of them, think they beat Everton 2-1 in the FA Cup a few years back.
And Gary Peters, now manages said club Darren Moss left to join Crewe.
Does that help you a little bit.

Were there any Dario out demos going on this afternoon? I read the most bizarre message on their messageboard the other day. One fan was moaning that Dario had relegated them enough times and should be sacked. That's two relegations. He conveniently forgot the 4 promotions and 4 play offs. If anyone thinks STFC fans are negative then think again!

A couple of abusive shouts that Dario didnt look as if he cared enough when they went 1-0 down and went in 1-0 at half time.
Basically they come across as a bunch of ungreatful tossers who only got behind the tean when they heard Forest had pegged Gillingham back to 2-2.

How many of the threads are actually about STFC? This is much more than an STFC messageboard and I for one am very happy that it is.

ok Steve Jones was signed from leigh RMI for £75K. Has scored 13 goals this season, and been suffering from personal problems-to do with his new born child i think. Kenny Lunt-captain, come up through the youth, played 300+ games for them, rumours about he's off to stoke. Loyd Dyer, a player people had mentioned we should get in on loan, thought he was onloan to Kidderminster at some point. West brom player. Cocherane, ex qpr, signed from hayes, looks about as useful as Jamie Tolley Dont really understand your point Pete. There are threads about hereford United, someones wedding, dreamteam, politics etc on this board. What exactly do they have to do with STFC let alone football in most cases. This is a football messageboard. Crewe Alexandre are a local football team,, who have had a recent transfer dealings with us. So i'd have thought they are just as relevent to this board if not more so, than starting off a thread about getting banned from chesters board for acting like a fool

read the post carefully.
If you cant cope with it I'm basically stating that a lot of the crewe fans were a disgrace today and made the wakeman end looklike a beehive of positive thinking and comments.

I think it is interesting to hear about Crewe as Dario was in the exec Longe YET again yesterday and if any of his current team are thinking of moving on can't think were he is likely to get some new recruits from. I thought that he would have cashed in his STFC season ticket after he bought Moss Someone also said the QPR boss was there yesterday.

Given that our season is now over I thought it was a reasonable, slightly OT post for anyone who might be interested; easy to ignore if you're not. Why all the agro? Is this a personal dispute?

Yep, as stated Dario was at the scunny match, along with Colin Addison. We have loads of players that would appeal to Dario, but some (Joe) are appealing to much bigger clubs. Can we keep our young 'uns?

Ian Holloway (QPR) was sitting next to Mr Crewe in the row in front of me and Kevin. They were directly in front but I couldn't quite read Dario's notes Holloway made no notes at all, and Dario put his paper away when he sat by Holloway after a half time seat reshuffle. We were trying to work out who they are scouting- it might've been some scunny players that are 'too good for this league' and could've been available had scunny missed promotion?

He reeled off the names of 4 Scunny players
