for the players that will help us to cement our position in league 2 next season and maybe even challenge for the play offs / automatic promotion. What does everyone think is the one major area which needs attention?
For me it's got to be upfront. 6 goals in 10 games now. I think the defence is pretty strong as it is and although the midfield sometimes go missing, on the whole I think they have done a decent job. Edwards in particular is going to be the next Town superstar i'm sure.

I think it may depend on what formation GP will want to play,If Aiston goes, will we use a diamond in midfield,i think even with Smith avaliable we have used all the combinations we have at the moment. But yes two goalscorers are needed if we are serious in challenging to get out of this division.

We need a goalscorer.
GP said on RS players have an appointment with him individually on Monday, in which they will be told if there staying or going. Then on Tuesday those retained will be given a set routine to stick to throughout the summer.

He also impilcated during the post match interview that he will be watching players or has players in mind that are still involved in play off games.

A couple of forwards, two proper wide players that can cross a ball and a dominant centre midfield player who can control a game.

i know he was a nightmare against us for Rochdale but i think someone in the mould of Ernie Cooksey would be good and would quickly become a fans favourite!!!
