A lot of Blue seems to suggest that the Tories will take control from the Lab/Lib coallition.

In our ward, St Oswald, there was an independent guy who lived in the ward, put out lots of flyers and information, went to see everyone and even stood outside the voting stations for ages talking to people before they went in. As usual, some bloody tory who I've never heard or seen anything of wins it. As someone said on another thread, stick a blue badge on the village idiot and they'll win by a bloody mile.

Copthorne, Harlescott and Sutton & Reabrook look like the only seats that really put up a fight. Sandford must have got a few votes out of sympathy for the "where's the shop?" incident
