Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere (had a quick look but couldn't see any mention). According to our local paper this evening, you are in talks with Huddersfield's Nat Brown. He played a bit during Wadsworth's terrible spell in charge. Wadsworth played him in the centre of defence despite coming through the ranks as a striker and he was one of just 2 or 3 players to be able to hold their head up after our relegation season.
After that he's been used as a right wingback, a rightback and occasionally a striker (though in 83 appearances he's never scored a single goal at first team level).
Suppose he could be a decent signing for you if he's played in central defence.

Didn't he score a penalty in the LDV and went mental? Everytime I hear the words 'ex-huddersfield' or 'currently at huddersfield' mentioned when it comes to players, I read your site and get the real lowdown. Shame your packing it up though

Never even managed to score a penalty for the first team though he was quite prolific at reserve team level. He looked really composed as a centrehalf but we're currently blessed with 3 brilliant young defenders so he's only been used out wide where he doesn't look too good. I think the player you've mistaken him for is Junior Mendes when he broke his duck earlier in the season. Good to know that the site is educating fellow fans about our LDV progress I'm not jacking it in altogether, just not bothering to do a '2005/6' section next season and covering less games. If we get Shrewsbury in the cup, you can almost guarantee I'll cover it just for some more Wadsworth stuff! All the best.

Maybe Peters thinks he will be a good replacement for Tinno. Can't really see him using him as a striker.
