That was the first time I had seen it an absolutely brilliant piece of TV and deeply deeply disturbing

The ingredients list of a chicken nugget made me want to hurl
and the salad with more fat than a Big Mac in?
The yoghurt thing with more calories than a sundae?
The whole thing was revolting - what sugared stuff drinks did to him, man, it was horrible

The stuff he dipped the chicken nugget in was pretty vile too, it did basically look like vomit.
And that guy that had ate over 19,000 Big Macs...how anyone can do that to themselves is way beyond my comprehension....

I have been avoiding fast food restaurants as a new year resolution and feel much better for it after 4 months (still a fat barstool though ). The way you break out in spots the day after eating MacDs is a pretty good indicator of the sh!t that must be in it.

After 3 weeks his liver was in danger of failing Eating 3 McDonalds a day effected him like an alcoholic abusing alcohol would be effected The look on the doctor's face was genuine fear

The trouble is- kids love MacDonald's don't they?
Every time I've brought my youngest grandson to watch a match, he's wanted to go to MacDonald's on Pride Hill, first.
It IS junk. The thing is they seem to have cornered the market in hard sell to kids.
If you're 6 years old, it is VERY "cool" to go to MacDonald's.

Read Fast food nation
Its an even better insight into the great American export and more specifically macdonalds and the effects these coorperations have on individuals, job markets and of course the consumers who eat the stuff, not to mention the animals who are sacrificed.
I now rarely visit a fast food joint (pizza hut excluded)
KFC is by far the worst for unhealthy food mind.

A tad more healthy than other fast food restaurants (as long as you keep to the low fat sandwiches)...very nice they are too...

Fast food is fine if you keep it in moderation. Brocolli is quite healthy for you but I'm sure if you eat a 'Brocolli Supersize Meal' for breakfast, dinner and tea for a month you'd probably end up quite ill too As for McDonalds - I'm sure the Big Macs aren't as big as they used to be

I was shocked at the effect of McD's on his liver. I was having the same problems due to to much booze, but to get the same enzyme trouble due fast food was a real eyeopener

But is is quite scarey that with him changing his diet and being so fit before it had such an effect, and with the fact they are trying to Get kids to eat more and more of it. I think when Jamie Oliver showed the kids on his programme how to make chicken nuggets and what went in to them how it put the kids off then perhaps we should be showing kids what really goes in the food these places sell. There should be videos shown in the schools although i dont really know how good it would be if parents are going to give in anyway

Saw the film before Xmas and I swore on my life that I would never eat a Maccy D ever again. Eventually I did and still love 'em ;D What happens to the guy in the film is due to him eating Maccy D 3 times a day for a long period of time. It's OK if you have 1 every week or two..... Exaggerated people you lot are.... PS: Can't beat a McChicken Sandwich ;D

Lord knows why I'm admitting this (but whilst I'm at it go and see the Kaiser chiefs, they're awsome live ) bust despite seeing the filem in novemebr the very next day i had to go and eat a macdonalds-seen as a "treat" in my family not an every day or even every week/month occurance. Needless to say Amy was livid and wouldnt speak to me, untill i offered her some fries and reduced her to my level ;D But they are still fiull of s**t

But they are still fiull of sh!t over 20 chemicals in a Chicken nugget you would never find in a household kitchen, and that is without the salt and fat I quite like McDonalds and have certainly had my share of them, hence being horrified
