Are you lads going for a pre match ale anywhere in Burslem? I've gotta do a post match interview for TV with Dennis Smith to get his immediate reaction to their relegation. Should be fun Also any questions you'd like me to ask him, or any tips on how to stop smirking while I'm speaking to him

Well that turned a bit sour...... Father and son supporting different sides tonight - father came away smiling (although not too broadly, as we were in the home end!) Father got told off by son for laughing too loudly when Wrexham scored their second Father had to apologise to neighbour who he went with, as neighbour is a Vale fan To answer TBH's question, barring a minor miracle, they are still doomed, but had they showed a bit of the spirit that they showed last night in some of their previous games, they may have made it. The 10 point deduction hit them hard - takes a lot of clawing back when you're in that position.

I have a very good friend here in Stutty who's a Wrexham supporter so I'll be the first on here to say...well done Wrexham!! I'd rather see MK Dons relegated (all the way to the Conference) than Wrexham...

To be fair they deserved the three points last night - but Vale were absolutely shocking! Poor away following though, I thought. Only 360 Wrexham fans there last night - and it's less than an hour down the road. I've still got my fingers crossed that Stockport, Brentford or Huddersfield will do the honourable thing and relegate the Wrectum

I hate to say it but I've always rated Denis Smith (despite my drink fueled rants against him at Rochdale ;D) and fair play to him for not throwing in the towel. Their GD is better than Torquay's so Rexham need to win their remaining 3 games and for Torquay to pick up just 1 point from their remaining 2, who's to say it cant happen

Bugger!!!! I had the town shirt ready to wae and everything!!!! Instread i had to witness Wrexham play some of the most attractive footy at times i have seen all year!!! They could and should have won by many more!!! If they keep together they are a team to fear next year And also had the misfortune to watch the vale play some of the worst football i have seen all season (they were horrific at times!!!!) Oh well i got to boo a lot which made me feel at home and got to take another off the 92 list having never been (or likley to go back) to Vale before!!!! Port Vale - Forever known now as "home " of the Chavs

it'll be all the funnier when it does happen, prolonging the agony. hope they win at stockport and then lose at home to a dubious late goal. ;D

I knew the Shrewsbury fans would turn our in force at Vale park. We should have had one of the ends especially for us I went along with four Vale friends to watch the SCUM get relegated and what happens, they WIN! Vale were arwful, in fact there was only one team interested in winning. Too be fair Wrexham deserved to win and not only scored twice but hit the post twice as well in the first half. Believe it or not, Vale actually won 5-0 last weekend against Barnsley. Interesting to see Andy Holt who scored the first and Alex Smith come on in the second half. ... And it rained but it is Burslem!!!!!
