Scott Howie and Darren Tinson
If it essential we keep these players as they have been the most consistent over the last two seasons.
Without Tinno at the back we seem to struggle.
Opinions please

defo keep the 2 i know joe is a good keeper but i really prefer howie who is consitent and always reliable i cant belive end of 2003/2004 he was a folk hero!! and now at end of 2004/2005 he is not playin i cant really see what he has done wrong i hear rumours they are releasing him why? is it they are comfortable joe hart can do the job well and is cheaper! but if we do see howie go who will come in a vetern keeper or what i cant really see a quality keeper comin n to be a number 2 keeper to a 17/18 year old!!
just my ophinion!!

I'd keep Darren Tinson for sure. How many games has missed through suspension and injury in the last two years?
From what I have seen of Joe Hart he is ready and that releases money for other areas of the team.
So my other name would be Sam Aiston.

Totally agree about Howie and Tinson. High standards, good ambassadors for the club and excellent discipline. Both good examples for the younger players.

I would offer Scott Howie 2 years and Darren Tinson 1 year.
They're the reason we came up, to a lesser extent the reason why we've stayed up, and are a real good insurance policy against relegation out of this division.

Good thread this- and I agree entirely- I agree about Howie and Tinson. They ARE good examples and excellent ambassadors for the Club. Yes- I'd like Streety to stay. Sam? Who can stop him when he gets the ball and runs like he does? He needs to keep his cool though- Sammy's got a short fuse!!!

i'd be surprised if howie and tinson are kept on
tinson has just about done his job for the town and a good job he did but time to go now, not that he has a choice imo
howie will get a better offer elswhere and i reckon peters will bring in a new number 1

what i'm thinking is all isn't well between howie & peters as for why i can only guess
i'm convinced howie is going and although joe has come on a great deal recently i dont think hes quite ready yet to be part of a team that wins a league (which is what i hope peters has in mind)
i wouldn't be surprised if we see a new face arrive in the summer
after all who will be number 2 to joe if we dont replace howie ?
