Was good last week at Rochdale he scored an important goal at Cheltenham, today he was in and out of the game his lob from 30/40 yards against the post was quality though.

I've just posted that it was from 45 yards. I expect he'll get a one season contract.

Difficult to call really, at fault for the goal, like you said the lob was superb, month by month contract maybe?

Difficult to call really, at fault for the goal, like you said the lob was superb, month by month contract maybe? Think that's a bit harsh. From where I was sat he didn't quite get enough to direct the ball the right way but I couldn't call it a mistake?

if he plays the kind of football he has shown so far i would give him 12 mths
on the other hand he could go rusty over the summer like darby did between the end of last season and the current one
the attempt today was pretty good although you could say he missed an open goal

Sheron's wage demand won't be cheap and I think that may go against him but you never know. Personally I not 100% convinced he's right for us, he's not a winger as we keep playing him.

I think to be fair to the fella and he was given the chance to play a few games in his right position he might have a better chance to shine.how many times have we got a new player and asked him to fill a different roll,eg Striker Street.

A decent stop gap in a poor season
Never worth a new contract

i'll stick with my instinct and say that it is a young man's game. if we are going to have any old heads it should be at the back and in goal. Going forward I am happy with what Ashton, Aiston, Edwards and Langmead can offer. I think Gary Peters should build on that with further young signings.

Positionally Sheron and Wilkinson are a liability. It's a no from me.

Definite No if it was me. Occassional good moments of skill during games, but positionally he let sus down and leaves big gaps.

No. Not under any circumstances.
This club as gone down that path too many times in recent history. It's short term, stop gap tactics. Lets go for a plan that wiil bear fruit and introduce young, hungry players.

no
i think it was a short term solution and in the clear out in the summer he'll be gone, especially as they'll be a lot of other players out of contract and available instead

To put it in proportion- mistakes are made, even at the highest level. We were watching the Man-U v Newcastle game with my daughter and her boyfriend. The goalkeeper (Howard, wasn't it?) made a mistake that's how Newcastle scored first. It was noted in the commentary. So Joe Hart certainly isn't unique in that respect!! Have we honestly got the money to buy in superb talent? If they were that good, they'd be picked up by a Premiership team right away- like Rooney was at 17. I admit I don't know as much as most of you do - but don't you think success at THIS level- League 2, depends more on organisation and a team that "gels" and works well together, do their jobs well and have a fighting spirit and a will to win. Yes, you need a consistant striker. Someone that frightens the opposition. Luke was one of those once. But who can we reasonably expect to get? Think of the most prolific goal scorers you know- like Douchar (is that the spelling?) from Gretna. Grazioli- now that Barnet are up, he'll stay with them and play at a higher level at some stage. I'd be REALLY interested in knowing who people would like to sign, provided it's feasible not just "in your dreams!!" What I hope is that GP manages to find some players with real potential on his scouting missions. He knows what he's looking for, who'll suit the way he wants them to play.

He offers little, I don't see him as part of the squad for next season.
You expect someone with his pedigree to be turning games or setting the world alight, each game he plays for us someone else in the squad plays better.
Sheron gone gone gone.....

Grazioli- now that Barnet are up, he'll stay with them and play at a higher level at some stage. Grazioli's best days are behind him but he should still be a decent player at our level.
