He can score 5 and still not play! Very unfair what's happening to him....he deserves better!

I'm warm enough now to write up tonight's match - I did tell DavefromAlty that Street had scored two, but the first was actually scored by Jay Denny Here's what happened - The game finished 3-0 - a very open competitive match - Stockport were scuppered by our strong defence and their poor finishing. Denny got the first just before half time after their keeper couldn't hold a shot from Lyng, Street got the second after robbing the ball from the last Stockport defender and shooting from 12 yards. Substitute George Hughes scored from 2 yards after 77 mins when the keeper couldn't hold a header from Adaggio. Smith & Clampitt both played over an hour. Penn put some good crosses in but didn't have to defend too much because Henry Goh was very solid. Stockport have a few good players too - their strikers were a real handful, especially Chris Williams, but our defence made sure that he was forced wide and he got taken off before the end. Cheers to Richard who had driven up from Shrewsbury to sit & watch the match in the cold - he pointed out that Denny scored the first - he'll probably be getting home just about now

Very true he must be doing something right with the reserves hes scoring almost every match why cant we give him a chance I have a feeling that G.P. can be very fair about this- and it seems he does notice when players give it all they've got, like Streety has been doing in the Reserves. He is now featuring in first team games - even though he's on the bench. As I've said before, if he can really put in the sort of performance he does in Reserves- well, who knows? I've heard a lot of support for him, including someone I was talking to on the train journey home one evening.

Street can't get even a midfield place in the reserves Tonight the midfield was Penn, Clampitt, Denny and Ben Smith, followed by Ross Stevens and George Hughes But that doesn't matter because he was class upfront and maybe that's where GP would like him to play

We have a few games where everyone can have a shot now, though whether it'll make any difference to their futures, who knows!
